Some highlights of the day were: Fort Niggerers learning how to rapid fire arty, which they quicky used to continually gas other spawns. The fun, chaotic fighting returned, and despite the continued spawnkilling, slowdowns, zulus, attackers, etc, Fort Nigger once again survived. Nevertheless, Fort Nigger was back, with all guns blazing. This Fort Nigger did not look the same as the previous one, and the builders where admonished by some for what they perceived as shitty building skills, and a lack of taste in aesthetics. However, not to be dissuaded from their mission statement – to defend Fort Nigger – they quickly gathered resources from around the map and built a new Fort Nigger in the same location. The following day, Fort Niggerers logged on to see Fort Nigger totally devastated. It was in this way that Fort Nigger first became culturally prominent in intcraft. Shitposting about Fort Nigger became rampant in the Discord Server, and several memes were made that mocked the assailants of Fort Nigger. Absolute state.ĭespite not being occupied during this period, it was at this time that Fort Nigger became a server icon. However, someone decided to give thespookybone janny powers, and he spawned in a ton of Withers. The server then crashed, and Fort Nigger was not occupied for the rest of the evening. Assailants from all directions stressed the Fort to its limit.
Maxims from the Fort crackled their devastating reply. Planes strafed the roof, dropping grenades on the defenders. Furthermore, a spawn pit was constructed, in a crude attempt to bring down the defense. Due to the lack of spawn protection, many opponents switched their spawn to inside Fort Nigger itself, which led to intense fighting within the fort. The fighting in and around Fort Nigger this first day was brutal, and would become characteristic of future rows in the area. It was at this time that the moniker “Fort Nigger” was coined, though this nickname would soon be widespread, and would in time become the only name by which the fortification would be known. This rag-tag group of fighters quickly placed Maxim Machine guns and arty on the roof, and began firing at any and all outsiders who dared approach the fort. Early on in the course of this server – though not day-of-launch early – the Fort was occupied by members of the Russian metagroup, as well as by a few French, and some others. One of these teams, known simply as “The Defenders”, occupied a fortification (Built by Polszxa Golsza Falklands Goaboa) that lay in between the city and the big boat, opposite to the cavalry / airfield base. The intention was to create teams that would fight each other, and this both worked and didn’t work. In the test server, one can join one of several groups, each with a separate spawning location on the map. One of the most visible manifestations of this server culture is in Fort Nigger.

The positive reception is a result of several factors, most notably the clean, satisfying gunplay, and the vehicles that aren’t full to the brim with onionscraft autism.ĭespite the many restarts, frequent slowdowns, issues regarding spawn protection, and a few too many players with janny powers, the test server has remained active, and has spawned a good amount of server culture. The test server for intcraft iteration 33 (or 34, however you look at it) was released about 5 days ago, and has since proven to be one of the most positively received test servers in recent intcraft memory, despite some of the issues hampering it.
